Details: "Shifting Shapes" is a knitted shawl that starts as a circle, shifts into a hexagon, shifts into individual triangles which then create diamonds. The finished shawl resembles a star.

MATERIALS:
1 skein Wool Crepe by Mountain Colors (100% merino wool with 1450 yards)
US 6 circular 24 & 40 needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Markers
Waste Yarn

SIZE: one size

FINISHED SIZE: Front sections hang 18 in length; Circle measures 7 in length; Hexagon measures 11 in length; Triangle measures 11 in length; Longest diamond point is 29 from the cast on edge. The width of the shawl is approximately 50 around upper arms.

GAUGE: 24sts to 4 in stockinette stitch
